Hey Ray,
When I started reading here, almost a year ago, I was alarmed at some of the posted statements.
Reading about this party called Apostafest was a bit horrifying to me. When I first started reading, I was not an apostate. Then I gradually realized TTATT and that the Watch Tower Society was just another man-made-up religion to fleece the flock and Lord over them. I don't need that. Apostapalooza , looks and sounds like a fun time place, not a party of drunkenness , "loose conduct" and eating babies. lol
If being a "Drone-Zombie" makes me a good Jehovah's Witness, then I will gladly throw off that name and accept being an "Apostate" and have freedom of thought again.
A TTATT-party might draw in a larger audience. All Jehovah's Witnesses are lied to, are manipulated by The Watch Tower Society, to do their will, at great sacrifice to us, not them. So the name is fitting.
Your Tahoe party is in a beautiful area, but quite far for me in The North Pacific.

so where do you start?.

i've been reading peoples experiences for several months now trying to figure out what i want to say but how do you put your whole life into a few words?.

i was a born in but have been happy and free for 5 years and luckily for me my husband felt the same way and we have freed our children from being brainwashed.

Figuring out animal sacrifice is not the same as the human sacrifice that the Watch Tower Society demands, was right on!
That you still have your precious #1 daughter and she is studying to become a Nurse, to of course, help people, is wonderful.

the fire was burning within me to say something so i mustered up the courage and did it.. .

we were for lunch after the meeting sitting at the same table as a pioneer sister, her unbaptized publisher bible study, and the bible study's teenage son.

the pioneer was telling the unbaptised publisher about how no one from sodom and gomorrah would get a resurrection because they were killed directly by god's judgment.. this is where i had heard enough.

I don't know what the rest of the conversation was about, but it could have been, that she was thinking of counting an hour at Lunch gabbing about whatever from the hall and you abruptly say they can look it up...as in possibly, she can't count as much time with them, if they go home and just look it up on their own.
You did a good thing. I don't think you are ratted out.
You chimed in at lunch. Hope you are going to count the time. lol

haboob48, I think it is a lovely name. Totally new and unique!
On the West Coast, it is after 10PM
Possibly/probably after beer drinking and carb snacking, for many, it has been a good day, another exciting Super Bowl Sunday.

Mr. Freeze>>>>>Interesting and exciting. The first guy, seemed overwhelmed with exhaustion, jubiliation . The last one, with the fellow, falling over the goal line, into the corner, his last second, before the other players got him, like wow, great play! What a game!

By the way, I am a believer in watching a game all the way to the end. Sometimes, those last few seconds can be more exciting, than the whole game.
